The Southern Book Club
The Southern Book Club held its inaugural meeting on September 20, 2000. Meetings of the book club are held the third Wednesday of each month (second Wed. of December) to discuss selected books by different Southern authors.
The Club is free of charge. A book is chosen in advance for each month. Everyone in the group reads the same book and we enjoy discussion of the book, its author, and themes over good coffee, tea, and desserts.
For more information about the club, its meeting place, or to purchase a book listed below, call Beth Hinson in the SCHF offices at 601-631-2997 or email her at bhh@southernculture.org.
